We needed a van to move some furniture and collect a fridge/freezer. We telephoned the UK reservations line on Thursday and provisionally booked a long wheel base van from Friday to Monday. We were told that because it was within 48 hours we should telephone the local office to check that the van was available. We did so and we were told that the long wheel base van we wanted was not available, but that there was a larger, tail lift van available instead. We agreed to take the larger van. On Friday morning we walked to collect the van (around two miles) only to be told that they had already rented the tail lift van to someone else, and there were no vans available. Result was that we were unable to move the furniture, because it was then too short notice to go elsewhere. We also had to arrange for delivery of the fridge/freezer, incurring a delivery charge. In addition, they told us that they had 6 vans booked the following day, and they didn't have them. This company has caused us a great deal of trouble and financial loss, avoid at all costs.
